Arrival Story:
I had wanted a puppy for myself for the longest time my IDEAL was to have a kitty and a puppy living happily together with me. However, puppies are expensive.. and i had to really think about weather it was ok or not expecially when there were so many puppies out there needing homes.... i had been to the pet store so many times although i already vowed that i will not buy from a petstore but from a breeder. All i knew was that i wanted a girl and i wanted something very very small. Pomeranians were always on my nono list because i didnt quite like their pointed nose and the fluffy mane (dont whack me please)... so began my search for the perfect puppy. i looked and looked and three times i almost bought somethign else. The first was a pom x eskimo it was so addorable but very hyperactive. I decided to think about it.... and went back to the store 2 hours later and to my huge disappointment all 4 of them had been sold in that short span of time!. My second almost puppy was a shitsu x papilon she was absolutely adorable with lil spiked up hair i fell in love. The petstore lady told me she had been there for 3 months already.. i couldnt believe it! I went home immedately to make all the arrangements with my parents for the new puppy but when i got back to the store the next day... SHE WAS GONE! Just my luck. My third almost puppy was a corgy x papilon.. this time i learned my lesson i used the PHONE to talk to my parents but they somehow convinced me not to take her home @_@ ... i thought i'd never get a puppy... i had given up.... a week later my boyfriend dragged me to the petstore again.. he promised he would get me a puppy for our one year anniversary present.. determined not to allow me to give up... we saw for the first time.. some pomranians at the petstore (dont ask me why i keep going back to the store when ive already tried to talk my self into going to a breeder) i saw the pomeranians... they were pooffy.. fluffy.. and adorable.. however i was not impressed.. i wanted to go home and wollow in my misery... that is until.. suddenly there was th most fluffy, most adorable and most... EVERYTHING pile of fur plopped in to my arm! my boyfriend had asked that we be able to see the pom puppies and insisted i hold one! i was hooked from them on... i didnt even want to look at any of the other breeds i knew a pom was for me.. i fell in love! i immedately started looking for a breeder and found one about a month later. everything was arranged. the Breeders brought the puppy in to town for us to visit and give us a few days to think about it.. (i remembered to put her on hold this time) and she was absolutely the smallest puppy i had ever seen! she was so tiny. I knew i wanted to take her home!. Communications were made and we were going to meet up with the breeders to purchase the puppy... however... it was very unfortunate that the Breeder's Husband had a sudden heart attack. we were very concerned.. we couldnt get a hold of them other than the message we received... and we thought... our puppy dream was over.. yet again....... i called them one and off for the next two months and was finally able to get a hold of them... they had held the puppy for us. i was very greatful... and thus.. it wasnt until Pixel was already 4 months old that we were finally able to bring her home. She was so small... and hence the name Pixel... she's gotten a bit bigger now but still very tiny... i wouldnt trade her for the world! ^_^
