Arrival Story:
As soon as we bought our own house with a yard, we wanted a dog right away. My brother-in-law owned a wonderful black labrador named Francie who has since passed away. She had all the wonderful qualities that we wanted in a dog, so we decided to get a black lab. We drove from New Orleans to Starkville, MS to pick her up and it was love at first sight!

Bio:
Stella is a calm girl that just loves to lay on her back in the sun. Like every labradog, the way to her heart is through her stomach. She never turns down food! Despite the occasional chewed shoe, we think she is the perfect pooch. Her favorite holiday is Mardi Gras because she gets to march in the Krewe of Barkus parade in her fancy costumes!
