Arrival Story:
I'd been trying to talk my husband into getting a dog for a while. We had finally bought a house and been there for about 3 months. I talked him into at least going to the Humane Society to look and we found Sam. She and 3 brothers were there and we got lucky b/c we got her and the puppies were going very fast! She was the quiet, sedate one of the group.
She came home with us and the first thing she did was walk under our fence (she was, after all, only 13 lbs and 3 months old). Luckily she just munched on the grass and we went around and picked her up. :)
Bio:
When she was 7 months old she got into some d-con. It was scary but she recovered fully and only had a tummy ache for a few days. She did get a HUGE shot of Vit. K from the vet and had to take pills for a month. But she was fine.
She didn't bark at all until we left her in the Pahle Animal Kennel for a week when we went to NY for new years. Then she came back a-barking away. Silly pup

daddy din't let me outside last night. so, I woke up mommy and made her takem e out. I don't think she was happy. she mumbled something about 2:30. oh well, when ya gotta go, ya gotta go!

This morning mommy snuggled me and said that later in the week i was goign away for a few days. i know they've been talking about going to somewhere warm... florida it's called? For some big 500 race. And I like going to the place they put me in last time when I didn't see them for a few days. But I was all out of wack when I got home and couldn't eat for a few days. I know it worried mommy alot, but.... I dont' know. Hopefully it will be fun!

that's what mommy and daddy have started using to get me inside! I'm having so much fun playing outside and they want me to come in before I'm ready so I run and then they run and it's a great game!!! But then they get the shovel and chase me with that (they wouldn't hit me, they just know I'm scared of it) and when they get that, I have to go in and I know to go in my cage because I think they are mad at me. But I come out a while later and get some lovin!!
