Arrival Story:
I am a baby chorkie girl (yorkie/chiuahua mix) weighing 4 lbs..and i probably wont' get much bigger. I was born April.11th 2005. My mom found me through the breeder in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania. I was born there, and played with all my liter mates...until I was thankfully rescued by her love. I was never sad to leave there, NOT ONCE did I cry through the night for my brothers and sisters. I have everything I could possibly long for at my new home in Crofton, Maryland. I have my own apartment, warm, fuzzy blankets, fun toys, silver bowls, I sleep in a queen size bed everynight with an egg crate on it! and a huge golf course in my own back yard! Life could not be more GRAND! Anyway..i love love love my new family,,and they are obssessed with me even more. Someone is always right in my tiny face kissing me and calling me the strangest names. As soon as they walk in the door they are practically Screaming..and I mean ScREaMiNg with excitement to see me after working a long 8 hour day,all i know...is it's ok I get em back when they kiss me after i have just cleaned myself or sniffed some yard poop! Just teasing I love them..they are my pack members, and they take the bestest care of me! I must admit..i get just as excited as they do..i practically lick their faces off..and lay on my back to get my belly rubbed (i do both of those two things constantly). HEy..I can't help it...i just feel so LoVeD! I am interested in meeting more doggy friends! And people too. I feel the need to say hi and wiggle my behind to everyone i meet..the more the merrier! I recognize my breed though so i get the most excited when i see yorkies and Chiuhuahua's. I have another furry friend named Campbell...but sometimes he gets annoyed with me. Also.. I am very sociable and would JuMP at the chance to meet some new friends!

Bio:
I enjoy, Long walks..around the crofton pkwy. I also love my squeek toys...(my family has bought me a TON of them). I like my cheer leader...and my moo cow...and my terps football the best! I enjoy running free on the golf course and picking divits up in my mouth and running with them for some exercise...my packmembers (mom and g-ma)..almost trained me to throw a golf ball in the hole..I'm holding out to do it though,....until they have a steak bone in their hands!) I love chewsticks...the natural kind that is. I also get puperoni's as a reward for using the big green potty...outside.GREENIES are great too..they have really helped my breath poblem the most. My mom is a food snob, so i ONLY eat all natural dog food (she says the other stuff is REALLY bad for me...cuz they put newspaper, peanut shells, and gross skin leftovers of animals who have died of cancer and tuberculosis in it YUCK..who wants to eat that? So, NO Pedigree or Purina for me..SOLID GOLD is what I eat for my two meals a day). I really love to sit high on top of the couch so i can watch my mom and my grandparents buzz around the kitchen. hey...I'm small so i gotta get up high to see what the world is like, and what food is on the table. I also enjoy camping..with my pal Campbell..we went once this summer and it was a BLAST! Outside all day..what could be better? (maybe the leftover hot dogs dropped in the campfire the next day). We went on a boat too...(i stayed tucked under the seat all day resting on a life jacket..i was scared that i might fly out of the boat, even though my mom had me leashed in very safe). I know that I am petite and cute...so the real big dogs don't mind when I box them in their faces with my paws...its a little flirting game that a young chork-pups gotta do to get what she wants. I really love my grandparents...they help my mommy take care of me a lot..my mom and grandmother fight over who gets to hold me...ALL THE TIME! I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the dog park in Annapolis...and the dog beach too...except those waves have gotten me a few times. Sand is the greatest though..it is the one time that my mom and grandma don't get mad at me for DIGGING.. (i don't get it!?!? I enjoying traveling to the beach to visit my great-grandparents too..they just shower me with attention and treats, , it is WONDERFUL! My great grandad shirley even has me in a frame with all the other family dogs that have been in my family. My favorite shows are Lassie re-runs, & animal planet. My favorite movie is "Lady and the tramp". I wanna be just like lady! Oh, and currently I am reading "potty training for pups" (i gotta learn some how right?) My mom attempts to dress me in those lil dog clothes ( I know ALL of you pups know what I am talking about). I only feel like putting those on sometimes...(usually just when I know lots of people are around). But mom just ADORES those tiny garbs. She is always dragging me into petsmart and target and embarassing me by taking my collar off right in the store & making me try on clothes! It's as if she doesn't even consider me possibly wanting some privacy in front of all those shoppers. Anybody could wonder down the isle and see me without my collar! The only positive things about those trips to Target are resting in my tiny little dog carrier. It is fleece inside, and I scratch it up real good to make it seem a little more worn and comfortable. I have been known to pass out in that lil purse/carrier when I am exhausted. The attention & smiles from the store employee's is nice too. Anyways, mom bought me a dress, a sweatshirt,...a purple and white gingham cloak, a camping shirt, and a jersey. NO MORE CLOTHES MOM..please, and please don't U THINK ABOUT buying me SHOES! I am not Paris Hiltons dog tinkerbell!..enuff already! woof*~woof*~ yap-yap!
