Arrival Story:
We found Brimley at the Orange County Animal Shelter in Southern California. He'd been there for a week and we were ready to visit with him, but the shelter said they were still trying to contact his previous owners. Another week passed. Poor Brimley remained at the shelter. We asked about him again and they said the owners weren't too keen on picking him up, but they were going to give them one more day. Needless to say, the owners never showed, so we adopted him! The shelter said he was about 6 years old, but our vet seems to think he might be younger and just prematurely gray!

Bio:
We lost our buddy Brimley on October 18, 2006. He was our shooting star - with us for almost a year. He brought a big personality into our home - play hard, sleep hard was his motto! After the adoption, we nursed him back to health from Kennel Cough and Pneumonia, but his immune system probably never fully recovered after that. Still, he was a trooper... for his last week before the Rainbow Bridge, we traveled to the Eastern Sierra where we hiked through mountains, streams, hills and meadows. He saw lakes, deer, colorful fall trees, cows, squirrels, snow-capped peaks, waterfalls, and lots more. We will miss you dearly, kiddo!
