Arrival Story:
I came to live with my family on April 20, 2002. I had been living in a rescue situation (who named me Baby), after being found wandering the streets with my spay incision infected.
My people had lost their first dog, Lexi to cancer, and they said they missed having the doggie presence. Because they lived in an apartment, they had to work around a weight limit of 35 lbs. After speaking with a few rescue groups they thought they found a tiny APBT that would fit in, but that dog didn't like kitties - LUCKY for me! Leah at Spindletop American Pit Bull & Staffordshire Terrier Rescue of Houston found me. My people agreed to adopt me without ever meeting me, and I was dropped off on April 20, 2002, (during what was supposed to be a home check!) and it was love at first sight. (I wasn't 35lbs - I was 44! But the apartment never found out and now we live happily in a house)
Bio:
You can't tell in my pictures, but I have BAT ears! Most people have no idea what breed I am because of my size and my happy ears. I generally don't get along with other dogs, and would love to chase kitties that are not my MY kitties. I strive to be a great pitbull breed ambassador.
