I know it has been quite some time since I sat down and wrote on here so here it is...

The weather was pretty bad for about a month. Lots of rain, high winds, lightning, thunder and tornados. My mom bought me a canopy/shade thing for the back yard since I can't stay in the house without being crated (and I think almost everyone here knows I can't be crated! I chew right through them) and a storm came and blew it into the neighbors tree. What luck uh! Well she got it back and it is broke but she thinks it is fixable for ATLEAST shade for this summer. We have a pretty nice dog house too that Flash and I fit in so when it rains we go in there. She put hay in it and we LOVE it.

A couple of weeks ago I was fooling around outside when mom was gone and she came home and noticed I wasn't feeling good. I cried when she would try to pick me up to put me on her lap and I didn't want to eat and she said my face just looked funny. So that next morning she called the vet and took me in. She was crying cause she didn't want to leave me at the vet, but they did all kinds of things with pictures of my body and took some of my blood(It didn't hurt) ran test and everything. Come to find out I had something wrong with the disc's in my back. So I couldn't jump on ANYTHING had to be crated which was okay cause I was just way to tired to try to get out and she gave me a weeny every morning and night, I knew it had a little pill in it but I didn't care I just wanted to weeny! So after about 2 weeks of all that I notice I am feeling much better and getting around alot more. But know mom seems to think I may have gained a few pounds while just laying around so know I have to be on a diet. UGH oh well I still get cookies even if they are diet. I like em. Well I guess that is about it for now. It was nice chatting. I hope to talk to ya'll soon. Be good and woof!!

A dog's Christmas Poem

From the Desk of
Rush S. Wells

On Christmas Morning
I wish,
For every dog
searching trash cans for breakfast,
a filled bowl with his name printed in bright letters.

For every dog
who slept fitfully last night,
chained in a frozen yard,
a soft, warm bed
with a person snoring gently nearby.

For every shelter dog,
spending Christmas morning in an ugly, soiled run,
a forever home,
filled with sounds and smells of a loving family.

For every "Christmas" puppy
given today,
a tolerant, caring owner
who won't abandon you
as you grow into an adult dog.

For every ailing pet,
enough money for your owner
to pay the bills to make you well.

For every lost dog,
a clear, safe road,
and well marked path,
to lead you home.

For every old and tired friend,
a warm fire, and a soft bed,
to ease your aches and pains.

and

For every Heart Dog at Rainbow Bridge,
a moment when you know that you
are remembered today,
missed again,
and loved forever.

Whats with our weather

So, last night I was playing around outside then all the sudden it was REALLY cold! Then the storms blew in ad this morning I woke up and there was really cold stuff on the ground. Moma called it ice, I think I remember that from last year but woahh was it cold on my tootsies. Now mom won't let me stay outside and she put me in that horrible crate while she went to work. She says she might be leaving early because of more ice. So while she was leaving I was barking and howling cause I just hate this crate! Oh well so that is my morning and I miss my mommy. I hope you all have a great day!
