Quick Bio:
-dog rescue

Birthday:
February 14th 1998

Likes:
anything that challenges her intellect AND her Baba. She likes to run from room to room with her baba in her mouth, toss it up in the air, catch it, and continue running around.

Pet-Peeves:
having her Baba kept from her; not being allowed to police behavior SHE feels is inappropriate; not being included in the conversation; NOT being the CENTER of ATTENTION

Favorite Toy:
Her BABA!!!! (a fleece camel she chose on her first day with me at Petsmart); Chasing tennis balls; recently, destroying said tennis balls

Favorite Food:
carrots, fruit, yogurt, popsicles, cat food, uuuuuh cat poop ugh

Favorite Walk:
at the park, ANY park and NOW!!!!!! If she knew about it she would prefer aan afternoon stroll down the Champs Elysee or a constitutional along the Thames.

Best Tricks:
making humans do tricks for HER!

Arrival Story:
She was rescued and kept at a no-kill facility. Her name there was PIA. No, NOT after Pia Zaddora rather Pain in the @$$ due to her incessant barking. D'OH!!!!! Something she has NOT outgrown. She was kept in a large crate in the cat room due to no room with the other dogs. She was let out of her crate, raced over to me, rolled over and presented her belly for rubs. I knew then and there we would be together forever. We then went to Petsmart together to pick out her food and supplies. She noticed a fleece camel on display. She removed it herself and took it to the cashier and placed it on the floor in front of her. I knew then she would rival anyone's intellectual prowess.

Bio:
All biases aside, Gretchen is one of the most intelligent dogs I have ever met. She isn't trainable. Although, she loves to learn how to do things. It seems she engages in complex/abstract thought processes rather than the concrete type known in dogs. She figures out ways to circumnavigate aorund problems. She is always busy. She demands to be included in every conversation.
