Arrival Story:
My husband found him at a nearby gas station. We tried to find his owners, but no one claimed him, so he decided we were his new family. He is very bossy and always wants to get his way. He is getting much better, but we still have a lot of work ahead of us. He is very sweet, but way too bossy to his older brother, which we are working on. He is a great "protective" dog, but sweet once you get to know him. He can be annoying which we are also working on.
Bio:
Rommel is a very intelligent dog. He is protective of his family and friends, but deep down he is a sweetie. He loves to play with kittens, he usually licks their heads until they are soaking wet. He is very intimidated by his older sister, Shaneyney, whatever she says goes! His personality is very unique, he is fierce, yet gentle, very stubborn, and at times he can also be a "clown". He is a great dog and we are lucky to have him in our family.

One of my best pal's died today, her name was Sissy. I will miss seeing her and I will miss her snapping at me for sniffing her in places that I shouldn't have. I will also miss her growling at me for trying to get her treats. She was spunky right up to the end. She lived a charmed life and was very loved by everyone that met her. "You go girl" wherever you are and whoever you are with. I will always and forever love you little Sissy girl.

This summer heat is not for me. I am so hot! I can not stand it for more than a few minutes. I can't wait until fall. I wonder how many days until it cools off?! Well, I am off to find a cool spot to sleep in, hopefully near the vent that blows cool air.

Well Christmas is over. I guess I was pretty good this year because I got lots of treats and some new toys. My mom says that Santa Paws is always watching me to see if I have been bad or good. My brother Smokey says it freaks him out to know that someone is watching him. Not me, if I ever see Santa Paws I will be on my best behavior so that I can get even more treats and toys next year. Well, it is time for supper so I better go. I will write more soon.
