Favorite Food:
Apples from the lawn, rice, pig ears ("doggie heroin"), cilantro sprigs from the herb garden, and rotten leaves from the driveway.

Favorite Walk:
The yard.

Best Tricks:
Pugsly has a vocabulary of about 100 words and phrases, including "Go find Josie!" (which came in handy when she went "exploring"). He also alerts to "birthday" and "Christmas," "rhinoceros" and "dachshund!" (he looks at the TV), and of course "Milkbone."

Arrival Story:
We picked Pugsly up in Tacoma, WA from his breeder on the same day we picked up Josephine from her breeder in northern Idaho. It was a long day.

Bio:
Pugsly is the most affectionate, loving, intelligent dog I have ever owned. Unfortunately, he is fear-aggressive, which makes him take on creatures much bigger than himself -- like Great Danes, children, and gorillas on TV. Pugsly has oxalate bladder stones, for which he will likely have to have surgery every few years. To prevent new bladder stones from forming, Pugsly has to eat special food (which makes him fat), and he can't have any treats (despite his many, many likes). He is the saddest pug on earth.
