Birthday: September 4th 2002 Likes: Playing tuggie, cookies, antagonizing Apollo, playing in the snow! He's like a little kid in the snow for the first time in his life, every time we let him out in it! Pet-Peeves: Fireworks, the nail clippers, thunder, being bugged when he's trying to sleep. Favorite Toy: The tuggies, Daphne, and the "Postal Plaything"! Favorite Food: Cookies and pig ears..he wags his tail so fast and hard for a pig ear, we're just waiting to see his butt "lift off" from the ground! Favorite Walk: Anywhere new and exciting mom takes me! Best Tricks: Shake basset paws, and giving basset hugs voluntarily or when asked. Arrival Story: We said we'd never do this, as supporters of rescue, but we got him at a pet store. We already had two bassets, one a rescue, but as true basset fans know, you can't have just ONE basset! One look at his gorgeous basset puppy face, and we were hooked. Two hours later, he became ours. Bio: In 2004, Zeus moved, along with his big brother Apollo and sister Daphne, from San Diego, CA to Portland, OR, where his "slaves" are retiring. Here, Zeus has his own fireplace to lounge in front of, as well as a pond full of koi fish to bark at.
