Running Away

I gave mommy a scare yesterday. She called the gardeners on Wednesday to tell them that I am living with her now and to be really careful with the gates and keeping them closed. Well they must have totally ignored her message because I got out! Uncle Matt had come home for lunch and when he was leaving, he called me, but thought I was just in the back yard. And then, just as he got to the corner, there I was. He got some exercise yesterday, because I wouldn't come to him. But he finally got me back home and made sure that the gates were closed. Mommy just hugged and hugged me when she got home. She went to Kinko's and made laminated signs for all the gates asking them to make sure they stay locked. Hopefully that will work!

Traveling

Last night mommy took me to meet my new auntie. According to mommy, auntie Sloane did not like mom's previous dog (she thought she was dumb, but we know that she just acted blonde to get her way). Anyway, Auntie Sloane loved me so much that she wanted mommy to give me to her! Mommy said no, but she did promise that we would visit and we are also going to visit with Sloane's grandma. I would be good for her because I am so calm and she loves puppies!

On Monday night we went to Aunt Fellicia's so that I could meet Cocoa and Oscar. Cocoa and I got along well, but Oscar has too much energy for me. He barked at me, so I peed on him. Hopefully we will get used to each other because I will probably be spending Thanksgiving with them since mommy is going to visit relatives and I don't like to fly. I like going in the car to visit my relatives, but mommy makes me wear a seatbelt and I would rather sit in her lap. Last night I got tangled in the seat belt so she had to let me out. I got to drive sitting on mommy's lap from the freeway to Auntie Sloane's. That was fun!
