Arrival Story:
Baci found me at North Shore Animal League in February of 1994.
Bio:
Baci saved my dad's life one day. After he passed out unconscious on the floor, Baci licked his face until he regained consciousness. She then nudged the phone to him so he could call for help. She is truly a special, caring dog.
Today, she's the one who needs saving. She has cancer and is undergoing chemotherapy. It is lasting a long 6 months, and she can't play with other dogs, or go for walks in fields until her immune system is strong again.
We're all praying that after December when her chemo is finished, she will live a long, healthy, and happy life, filled with many walks through the fields and parks, and meetings with many other pup pals.
Unfortunately Baci succumbed to the cancer in November of 2006. It has been hard without her as she was such an integral part of our family. She is dearly missed, but she is always in our hearts.
Rest in Peace, Baci, until we meet again......
