Just relaxin'

Today, mom put 3 new pictures of me and raines on our page. Theres one of me with my new christmas toy. Then theres one of me and raines near the fireplace. On that day most of Texas was shut down because of the ice storm we had so we got to lay by the fireplace and relax and watch tons and tons of DVD's. Then the last picutre is of me playin' with my ball in what we in Austin call snow. Woo hoo! my first time to see real snow! Momma made Raines wear little purple boots on her 2 front paws, so her paws won't get too cool or wet. But she only had to wear 2 because momma D threw the other 2 away by accident. Anyway hope you like my new pictures.

It's my BIRTHDAY!

It is the eve of my second birthday and I thought it would be a good time to bring everyone up to date on my progress from a puppy to and a teenager. First of all I want to thank everyone who has taken the time to baby sit me when my parents are working or away on something called a vacation. I haven't quite figured out what a vacation is yet but mom said that I will be taking some of them with her. Anyway thanks for being there for me and my sister Raines. My mom said I've really learned a lot this year:
---I can tell time; especially with it is 5:30 am and 4:30 pm. My favorite times of the day.
---I learned to sit before I eat and wait until mom says its OK..Then I EAT
---I have learned NOT to bother the plants in the backyard. Well MOST of the time Sometimes the urge comes over me but I doing much better.
--I had my first experience with doggy day care this year and am learning to play with other dogs much better. I still rather be in my backyard then at doggy day care but my parents said its important to learn to get along with others when I play.
--I have also learned that my middle name is Rainier but when mom uses it with my first name that means I am probably in some trouble.
--I have learned to be a very good ball player this year. I can catch the ball in the air and can also stop it with my paws. Mom said that its in the genes of our family to be a good ball player.
--I have learned that I have very smart toys. I can take all of them out in the day and by nighttime they have all found their way back into the toy basket. --I have also learned a very important thing this past year….that if you make my sister Raines mad, then you better run fast cause she bites hard.
--Mom took out my cage last month and opened up the sunroom but I still have to go to a special place where my cage was when I am in TIME OUT
--I really like water.this year I went swimming in my pool a lot and boy was it fun. Mom would put it out for me and I would dig and bite at and water until it was almost all out of the pool. Speaking of water mom told me that I need to learn to drink my water without putting it all over the floor. I wonder if Doggy Day Care will teach me that?
--My parents took me to two races this year the jingle bell race/walk and the might Texas dog race. I didn't win or place at the race because mom held me back by making me walk with a leash.
--I REALLY DON'T LIKE WEARING A LEASH.I listen, unlike my sister who I believes is deaf.
--I really liked with Grandpa M and Aunt Pam(she flys all the way down fromMONTANA) take care of me cause I got my first taste of PEOPLE food and boy is it good. So NOW I look very pitiful at my mom when she eats so maybe she will give me PEOPLE food.

Well those of some of the highlights of this year. I got my first birthday present from Raines yesterday. She got me this new kewl toy that’s a green squirrel. I really am into watching for squirrels in my backyard. I am waiting for the day that one makes a mistake and then it will be my new brown squirrel toy. I wonder if they squeaks?

Playin' with sister

Woo Hoo! mommy put a few new picutes of me up on my webpage!! One of those pictures is of me trying to get my big sister to play with me. She was a little pooped out from us playing with our human cousins but not me.. no, not me, I was still wanting to playing so I kept putting my head on top of Raines in hopes that I would either piss her off and she'd chase me around the yard or get her in the mood to play. I succeeded in pissing her off and after a while and I got my wish. She chased me around the yard. I think she was more mad because I had her favorite dumbbell in my mouth and she already told me tons of time that toy is OFF limits. Well hope ya'll like my new pictures. I chat wit chu later.
