 Quick Bio:
 Birthday: February 23rd 1992
Likes: Treats (of any kind), walks, meeting new people, playing tug of war, lovin', nap time

Pet-Peeves: Loud noises, people who wave their arms, any ruckus of any kind (she is the hall monitor)

Favorite Toy: Her "chew-chew" (for tug of war)

Favorite Food: Cheese and peanut butter

Favorite Walk: On the beach (we used to live near the beach in California)

Best Tricks: She learned how to honk the horn in my car when she was very young (by accident), then she started doing it on purpose if I left her in the car for any amount of time. Brat.

Arrival Story: I picked her out of a litter of Australian Shepherd puppies. She was the only one who was a "red tri". She is mainly red/liver colored with tan and white markings and green eyes. She is quite beautiful. She was the smallest in the litter so I thought she would be the most docile ... boy, was I wrong. She turned out to be the dominant dog in the litter. To have the dominant pup of such a smart breed is tough. She is so incrediby smart and willful at the same time. She would learn things very fast, but then decide that she did not want to do them. Brat.

Bio: My Lucy is an old gal now and moves a lot slower than she used to. She is still my beautiful, sweet girl, but she has arthrhitis and severe heart disease (diagnosed in 2004). I thought I was going to lose her early in the year, but my vet turned me on to an experimental drug called pimobendan (for dogs with heart disease). It has been a miracle and has really extended her life. I know she does not have much longer on this earth, but at least her quality of life is greatly improved.
Lucy loves meeting new people and she is so cute and funny when she does ... she wiggles, flirts, and talks. She "makes" people like her. It is so cute to watch her meet a little boy for the first time. She get so excited and flirts and licks his face. And the little boy just laughs and laughs. My Lucy adds so much positive energy to the world and it makes me sad that when she does pass, that energy will be gone from this earth. The world is a better place with her in it.

Forums Motto: Miss little wiggle butt
