I miss you so much Safey :(

Today is a good day!

Hello everyone,
I just wanted you to know that i havce started a rescue in safey's name. I have always rescued dogs and placed them in good homes but i wanted to do something in safey's name so people would know what she had been through and i didnt want people to forget so i have started safey dog rescue which stands for
Saving
Animals

Euthanasia
Yearlong

Hello safey,
today is monday November 7,2005 and i know you are watching over me, i can feel you :). I miss you dearly and cant stop looking at your sweet face.I know you are giving me strength every day to keep taking in little ones such as yourself that are no longer wanted by their owners. I am going to the pound today to get a blind 6-8 week old chihuahua that nobody wants. I know that i am taking on a HUGE responsiblity and i already feel overwhelmed but I know you brought her to me and i know that i need to help her. You have helped me heal in so many ways that i wanted to tell the world how much i appreciate you and how much you are loved. I will raise this little puppy into a great little dog and eventually find her a great home. You have given me strength in so many ways so keep watching over me sweet Safey,you are truly my guardian angel!

~Mom is starting to heal~

Today is thursday the 27th of october and something happened that i couldnt imagine doing so soon.We got another little doggie that needed a home.When Safey passed i swore to myself that i wouldn't get another dog but when i got a call from the pound telling me about a little Chihuahua that was brought in after she got done weening her puppies and the owners didn't want her anymore but they kept the puppies (people can be so mean)well they were going to put the little dog to sleep because her poor nipples were so big from feeding her pups that they thought she would not be adoptable.I couldn't believe it!
I first called my husband to make sure that it was ok if we brought another little one in the house so soon and we both agreed that it just wasnt right for her to be put to sleep because of her looks and of all things her pregnancy. I took off from the house right away and went and got her at the pound and boy was i glad i did.What a doll! We named her Dolly Blu because she has big boobies like dolly parton :) and she is a blue color and it all flowed together. I couldnt imagine someone turning her in because they no longer wanted her she is a doll! she dances for you and she is housetrained and a total love bug and only 3 pounds soaking wet although she does need to gain a pound or 2. I felt it was a sign from Safey telling me that this little girl needed a home. I know that Safey will NEVER be replaced but eventually you have to heal and it is not the fault of these poor creatures that they are homeless. I still miss Safey terribly and will always love her but now it is time to heal and so unexpectedly so.
Dolly Blu will have her own page soon and I just wanted to say to Safey ~Thank you for watching over us and for watching over this sweet Dolly Blu,i know that there was a reason why i was called to come and get her!~
