She's not great on a leash for real walks, but she loves to play "stick" while on the tie-out in the backyard

sit, shake, lie-down, and she knows that the word "nap" means to get in Mommy and Daddy's bed! I wonder who taught her that?!

Arrival Story:
JJ is our first dog and Jeff got her at the Cherokee Animal Shelter. She was there with her mom and her sister. Her mom was an Aussie Cattle Dog and we can assume by the curly tail, black spots on her tongue, and her general appearance that her dad is a chow chow. JJ's name was decided on our first date (months and months previous to us getting her!!) when we had a conversation that went something like "when we get a dog we should name it JJ for 'Jeff and Julie'", and so there you have it!

Bio:
JJ is a very vocal dog and makes a lot of odd growly noises, but not aggressive ones. She makes them mostly when she playing and they are very loud. One time, while on the phone with a tech support guy, he stopped the conversation to ask me what the noise was, he said she sounded like a "chanting bear"! LOL Her favorite game, or so WE think, is "buzz" where we make a buzzing sound (a razzberry) on the white furry patch on her chest and make her flip out and she pounces around and chases us around and growls. * JJ is no longer with us. We loved her so very much, and we will miss our friend dearly. She was loyal and sweet to the very end.
