Yesterday, my mommy took me to see a nice lady. She gave me a bath and a haircut. I don't know why they had to take all my hair off when it's so cold outside now!

They keep telling me I'm a good girl now, and they give me lots of milk bone treats. It has something to do with me going outside on my own and going potty in the green stuff, just like Duke and Hans do.

I'm getting tired of a couple things here... They haven't given up on making me go potty outside. It looks like their way may be best. I might just have to give in.

The other problem I've got is this thing called heat. They keep talking about me being in it. I don't know what it is, but it has something to do with the doggie diapers they are making me wear. How embarassing. Mommy and Daddy say it should be gone soon, and they're going to fix me so I don't get it again. Sounds cool to me. I don't like wearing panties!

Settling in to this new home.

WOW! These people are great!!!! They let me sleep with them. I can sit on my mommy's lap at night when we watch TV. I get good food, and treats too.

What I don't like is that they keep making me go OUTSIDE to the potty. I'm working hard at training them not to do that though. I can get them to stay out in the yard with me for up to 1/2 hour before they give up. Then, after we go in, I give 'em a little surprise on the carpet. hee-hee.

Going home

I have been at this place called The Humane Society for a couple weeks. Today, the nice people here took me to a place called Paw Mart for Adoption Day. That is where you find some human pets you like and adopt them to be your family. Some really nice humans came in with another Schnauzer and I decided I would adopt them. My new humans pets are pretty cool. I think I picked the right ones.
