Spring is back and so am I

Springtime for Cutey and Mochi and Meiren

Hi, all,

It is springtime again. The mountains are beckoning for me to go run up and down them again. Any day now daddy will take me and Mochi up to Mission Peak and we will wear out the place running, jumping, playing, sniffing, raising Cain, barking. I can't wait feel the wind on my fur and the sun on my back. I really love my home town, and I love my family. Mochi is an ok brother, even if he is a bother at times. I used to get mad at Meiren all the time but now I think she's ok most of the time. She is not my size, and neither is Mochi, so they don't like to play with me as much. I wish I had a dog my own size, and age too, a dog a little less silly. I get really annoyed when Mochi and Meiren fight over the littlest stuff and I have to bark them back to peacefulnility, or whatever that is.

Mochi is back

Hi, Meiren,

Mochi is back.

He is not exactly the old Mochi we all know and love (usually), but he is back. He doesn't bite me on the hind leg, and I am not complaining about that, but he is still the same old self confident bossy self he always was, and that's ok. He is the spark of the family, the life of the pack, and around here, we need every dog we can get. If he would just stop taking my bed! He has his own bed. But for now, I will let him sleep there. He almost died, I am sure. He was sooo sick. He couldn't eat, or sleep, or run around. And Mochi LOVES to eat. But now he is back.

I hope he will get his energy back soon. We need to liven things up before Thanksgiving.

Oh, by the way, forget about what I said about your silly smile. You are really cute, even if I am jealous of your youth and energy. Anyway, there is room enough in this house for two beautiful female dogs like you and me. Let's hope the next one is a male like Mochi.

New Dog in the Family

Dolly has been in the family now for almost six months. She is a very cute dog, but very passive and very cute. I don't really like her very much because she is kind of "too cute" for her own good. She loves me, and I feel a little embarrassed about it. More later.
