Arrival Story: Mom was looking for a puppy from some breeders and came across me one day with two other puppies. I was the quietest and also the runt but was the sweetest little thing (still am!) so mom had to take me. My breeder wasn't exactly the best but mom couldn't live with herself if I was left there. It turned out I was sick since the breeder hadn't kept all of us well but I was cleared up within a couple weeks. Mom says I scared her and dad for a while but we really love being together now that I'm well! Mom says I got my name from her and dad's favorite president, Ronald Reagan. She said everyone loves my name because we are in the President's library town and everyone here loved him too. Last week mom invited Triton and his mom to come over and play! I was so exited to see them and was whining a lot while I waited for them but mom said I need patience. pffft on patience! When they did show up I was so happy and I showed Triton all over my backyard with all my toys! Then we started to play wrestle and tug at Triton's football. We really wore ourselves out so we decided to rest. However, Triton decided he would jump in mom and dad's fountain in the backyard! Mom and dad yelled at me last time I did that so I didn't jump in right away but Triton looked so happy sitting in it. Mom didn't seem to mind too much as long as we had fun. We ran around a bunch more until we were even more tired than before and Triton looked ready to fall asleep. I can't wait till we play again!
Last Saturday I got to go play with my new friend Triton! We had lots of fun running around the park and I got to go off my leash for a little while. I love being free to run around like that! Triton's Mom and brother Dakota came along too... he's the biggest dog I've ever seen!!! He scared me a little at first but he was very nice later. Triton and I chased each other around the grass a bunch then one time I ran off too far and Mom got mad. I tried to make her chase me but she got even more mad because I didn't come when called. That wasn't very nice of her to tackle me like that... ugh she even put me back on the leash!
After we went back home I slept for a long time then after Dad got home we went for a drive and I was still sleepy so I just laid down in Mom's lap. Uncle Keith and his girlfriend Melody came too! Then we got to go to the beach and I ran around on the sand for a while. That was lots of fun!
Uh oh, I lost my first tooth last night! I think I scared Mom and Dad at first because they saw some red splotches on one of Mom's socks I stole. mom said it was my baby tooth and I'll lose a few more soon enough!
Well Dad brought Shadow home last night and she immediately hissed at me! I don't understand why she was so mad at me... we used to play all the time... though she does seem much smaller than the last time we saw each other. Mom was really happy to see Shadow and hugged her most of the night which made me kind of mad. I caused some trouble and barked a bunch until Dad yelled at me. I kept going because I was upset and he put me *in the cage* since I was being bad... I didn't like that very much! Though Dad said I get to have the backyard all to myself now!
