Favorite Walk:
The backyard at family house or right outside our apartment in the city!

Best Tricks:
He loves to lay at the end of the couch and nose his toy off the edge then try to catch it! If he doesn't, then he waits around for you to pick his toy up for him! Also: sit, give me paw, other paw, lay down

Arrival Story:
A family friend knew of someone who was giving J. away. We already had a maltese Dandy (now deceased) and were surprised that our parents decided to take J. in! He came into our lives 8 years ago. He was a very difficult dog-biting people and being defensive. Eventually he let us into his life and his heart, has gained so much confidence in himself, and now we can't imagine not having him in our family!

Bio:
J. passed away on the morning of January 11, 2007 in his sleep. We know that he has gone to dog run heaven to reunite with our dog Dandy and has many friends up there. J. was a sweet dog that gave us so much with his unconditional love, funny faces that gave us so much laughter, and showed us what beauty was with his curly ears. He was the reason why we started Sushi Pups toys because we could only be inspired by his playfulness and love for toys. Seeing J. play with something we created for him was one of the biggest highlights of our lives. J., we love you very much and you are a great dog. We will be sad to not have you here with us on Earth to have many more wonderful moments with you but we hope that where you are now, you are running around again, eating lots of unlimited treats, and surrounded by many good friends and toys.

Forums Motto:

Keeping Michelle company during her vacation

My parents dropped me off last week so I can stay with Michelle during her week-long vacation in the city. I always enjoy the drive from New Jerse y to the City because I get to see so many different things! I love car rides because it means I'm usually going somewhere (except the vet's!!!).
It's fun because I get to see Jenn too in the morning and when she comes home from work .
This week, I just walked outside and played lots with toys! Michelle takes me to the dog run sometimes but I don't like it there! I just sit next to Michelle on the bench because I'm too scared to play with the other dogs!

One night Michelle and I did a sleep over at EJ's place. He used to not like me to sleep on the bed because I chewed his duvet cover, but now he lowers his work chair for me so I can hop on it to get on the bed! The walk back to Michelle's in the morning was a nice way to start the day!
Today I go back home. :( But I get to go back to more space and a nice big backyard to roam free in!
