something that's sad

"while wondering around the internet, i ran across a webpage for a kennel that sells my breed brothers and sisters. i was so sad to see them advertising them as "the perfect protection" like they would a gun or any other weapon.

my breed is getting wiped out, city after city because of people like those; people who take pride in the fact that their Bullies are mean and will "attack a stranger".

Why can't people see us for the loving, loyal and sweet puppies that we are? owners like my Momma are fighting so hard to "Punish the Deed, Not the Breed" and there are people like that messing it all up."

Introduction

Isis is a pure bred Red Nose APBT. I found her when browsing at a local flea market. She was the runt of the litter and as soon as i held her, she snuggled into my arms and sighed contentedly. She hasn't changed at all in that respect. She would much rather have you give her rubs than play tug, fetch or anything else. The only times I see her Truly excited is when we are about to go for a walk/ride and I am training her with treats. I personally think she is part billy goat because her favorite perch is on the arm of the large comfy chair I have in my living room.

Of course, she's admittedly spoiled. But I can honestly say it's not all my fault. Osiris, my other dog, gives her anything she wants - except pig ears and raw hides. Even when it comes to sleeping, more often than not, I find her on top of as many pillows that are in the vicinity. She pulls the ones on the back of the couch over or finds the comfiest spot in the middle of a pile of blankets.
