Hi!

I think I'm getting better... I heard mom say that I'm not nearly as neurotic as I used to be... Not sure what neurotic is, but I guess it isn't good. She told me that I never have to go back to that horrible place I came from... I was really scared of that for a while, but now I feel better knowing that she'll keep me safe with her forever... She sticks up for us pups in this redneck town... Angel told me that if I play my cards right she'll spoil me rotten... and Angel would know, she's been here forever... 100 years I think... But not as long as Jacques... He likes to play with me, but he doesn't seem to think that I'm "on his level", as he put it. Actually, I think he told mom that I'm goofy... What is goofy? I hope it's good. I really hope I grow into my legs soon, so I can stop tripping over them every time I run... Sometimes mom says she wants me to hurry and grow up, but most of the time she tells me she wishes I could be a baby forever... Effie said that she is the ONLY hound dog in our pack... It hurt my feelings, but I told her that she could shove it. I'm a hound dog too, and if she doesn't like it phhhhtttttttttt. I think Jacques is supposed to be a mean dog... Someone told me that he's a pitbull... And that Angel is part Chow, and chows are mean... But they aren't mean to me... I don't understand why people would say bad things about my brothers and sisters... They didn't do nuthin'... Oh well, time for me to hit the sack!
