Christmas Bah Humbug!

Mommy says my friend TJ is going to spend Christmas with us, I tried to explain to her that he'd be much happier at a kennel but she won't listen. I like TJ and all but seriously if he's at Bumba's with me for Christmas that means LESS goodies for me! I thought I had it made this year because cousin Cyrus is away so more for me but now TJ will be there and he's like 100 pounds heavier than me so he's gonna get more goodies!
Does no one understand my needs? I MUST be the center of attention at all times! Afterall the world does revolve around me!

What a GREAT Day!

Mommies took me for a long drive today and then we stopped at a farm. While we were there I got lots of treats AND I got to go into a pen with sheep and chase them!!!!! The nice Lady at the farm said I was gathering them and trying to herd them but I think I was just having fun running after them!
Then Mommies were very happy because I got a certificate and they said I could go back anytime and play with the sheep as many more times as I'd like. Right on!!!!
Oh and the nice lady also said she thinks I"m an Australian Kelpie not a Rottie/Cattle Dog mix. Imagine me a purebred and a rare one at that(at least around here) and I was just dumped at a shelter!
Anyway after the farm Mommies took me to the pet store and I got two new toys and lots of treats!!!!! What a GREAT DAY I had!!!!

Uh oh....

I almost gave Mommy a heartattack tonight, she let me and my cousin Cyrus out in the backyard to go Potty and I caught a Grackle.... that's a bird incase you didn't know.
I don't know how I did it but I must be good cause how many dogs can say they caught a bird? Anyway Mommy saw me standing on the bird and called me off so I just watched while she saved it. It was stunned but then in a couple of minutes it recovered and flew away.... all that hard work wasted! Mommy was so proud of me for not killing it but she was also mad that I caught it in the first place.
I don't know what the big deal is my friend up the road Sam pulled a Salmon out of the river and killed it!

Life's not fair!

Mommies took me to the vet yesterday.... I HATE the Vet! And that nasty person said that I'm not allowed to run around and play for a WHOLE WEEK! Just because I hurt my leg and don't know enough to take it easy so it can heal I have to stay inside and not have any fun!
Oh and the bad lady also said I might have a food allergy so I'm not suppose to have ANY of my FAVOURITE things!!!! I'm not even getting good dog food anymore just icky duck stuff.
I don't like the vet one little bit!

Birthday Surprise!

Last Night mommies took me to the doggie park to play with my Poodle Pal Two Tone Henry. When we got there Henry wasn't there so I was sad BUT then I saw my favourite chewtoy COBY!!!! I love chewing on Coby and since he's part Lab he likes to be chewed on! Then Two Tone Henry showed up and I played with him too.... and the biggest surprise was my Vizsla pal Boba showed up. I haven't seen my Bobie in a LONG, LONG time so to celebrate I chewed on him too! It was a great birthday because all my favourite pals were at the park and also because mommy brought my cake home from grandma's and it was extra special! Grandma had made me a Cornbread cake with Sweet Potatoes, and rice in it as well. I love sweet Potatoes!

Happy Birthday To Me!

Today's my birthday! I'm 2 years old! And Mommies got me some nice smelly bones, and beef jerky, and two new stuffed toys to destroy! The Lady at the petstore also gave me a yummy treat, Oh and Grandma made me my very own cornbread cake!
I could get use to all this stuff, and the attention too!
Friday is my cousin Cyrus' birthday... I wonder if I'll get anything good out of that? Cyrus is going to be 10 years old... mommy says that's old for a Rottweiler I don't know all I know is he's boring! All he ever wants to do is eat and sleep!

Oh GOOD NEWS!

I forgot to say I got good news about my favourite chewtoy Coby! The lump wasn't serious and he was back at the park yesterday so I played with him.
AND he's started running(Coby never ran before) and I got to chase him and bodyslam him in midstride! That was fun, I like tackling and bodyslamming Coby but not as much as I like chewing on him!

I think I like the Puppies....

Today the weather was crappy but mommy took me to a field with her friend and the three Puppies... Barbie, Brandy, and Buddy. I didn't like the puppies before, especially Brandy because she beat me up at her house. But today I played with them and I really like tackling Barbie and chasing down Brandy. Oh and Buddy follows me everywhere because he worships me! That's cool, it's nice to be someone's idol, Mommy says that kind of attitude is going to give me a swelled head! I think she's just jealous because no one worships her!
Later mommy says there's Pugs coming over to pick up a blanket she knitted them... Pugs are boring! They have no stamina and they're no fun to chew on either!

Vengence is mine!

The other night Mommies took me to the puppies house(Barbie, Brandy, and Buddy) and Brandy thought she could push me around. Well today I got her back! We weent for a walk in the woods and I chased her and tackled her! I also gave Barbie what for just incase she got any ideas!

Oh no!

Mommy got some bad news about my favourite chew toy... I mean doggie pal Coby. His mommy says he has a lump on his side and the vet isn't sure what it is so they had to take it off today.
That means I won't get to chew on him for awhile and that makes me sad. Mommy said too that it might be serious and that would mean I wouldn't get to chew on him ever again. I hope it's not serious cause I love my Coby Boy!
