Likes:
Attention... from his humans, from our other dogs, etc. He loves going to doggie daycare and playing with all the other doggies. He also loves getting his belly rubbed.

Pet-Peeves:
Not getting attention. Our other dogs getting more attention than he is.

Favorite Toy:
Any dog toy, tennis balls, anything he finds out in the backyard (branches, pine cones, etc.)

Favorite Food:
IAMS dog food. And, the occasional piece of popcorn or cheese.

Favorite Walk:
Anywhere. ("Who walks when they could run & jump???!!!")

Best Tricks:
Balancing on his rear end and frantically waving the front paws in the air (either to try to get you to play with him or to get you to rub his belly).

Arrival Story:
It was just a few weeks after we had lost our 13-year old Lhasa Apso, but our house was just too quiet with just one dog... we had had two for almost 13 years. We were impressed last year by our friends' Pomeranian-- the personality, the disposition, the intense focus, etc. We were keeping an eye on the newspaper ads and went to look at a litter of 5 male Pomeranians... Charlee was getting crawled all over but was determined to stand out in front of the crowd & meet us. He went home with us that day... he calmly rode in my lap as I drove the 1-1/2 hours back home.

Bio:
People told us we would have our hands full-- that Pomeranians are energetic and barkers. He does have a lot of energy and is extremely quick (especially when he doesn't want to be caught). He really doesn't bark much unless he's out in the backyard & our neighbors' dogs are out. He's got a great disposition. He's extremely social... loves to meet new people and dogs.
