Arrival Story:
We were looking for a friend for our other dog Snickers. In the paper was an add for a Brittany mix so we went to the no-kill shelter and there was Annie; a skinny, quivering mass. They had found her in a ditch with a litter of new born puppies. The shelter took all of them in and adopted out the puppies but no one wanted Annie. She was very fearful and whenever anyone came to see her she would just shake and go flat. When she saw us though she came to us, I looked into her eyes and told her she was going home. She stopped shaking, and wagged her tail and I started crying. We brought Snickers with us and she fell in love with him, they are now inseparable.

It's obvious that she has had a bad past, whoever had her didn't treat her good so she still can get pretty scared over sudden moves, loud noises, car rides. She's much better now; very content to sleep on her chair and watch the day go by.

A Day in the Life of The Goose!

I am such a moopies!!

Life is so good to me. For Christmas mom got us pooches snackies from Just Dogs Gourmet and they were divine. We had gingerbread men, peanut butter bones and chicken flavored candy canes. When mom and dad opened their presents I sat on my chair and watched but soon I got bored and fell asleep and that's fine, because I love sleep.

Mom just figured out today that I am almost 8 years old! I have aged so gracefully though you can't even tell. I won't be needing Botox or Colligen injections like those movie star women, ha!!! And after all these years mom and dad still melt when they look into my eyes...

Being a moopies is fun!!

New Friends!

Wow, me and my family Boomer and Snickers have so many new friends! That makes me very happy since I'm all about the friendship and love.

Oliver, your ears are absolutely adorable. My mom told me that you are from Scotland. Wow, that must be lots of fun - do you play the bagpipes?

Hi Gwenevere, you are so pretty and your eyes and huge like mine. Don't you think that being a cocker mix is fun??

Farley, you are such a looker. There is something about those English Setters, I tell you. I think it's all the spots!

I know I have many other new friends and I just wish I could remember their names off the top of my head. If I think hard though it taxes my brain so I try not to do that.

Mom made us home made doggie treats to sell at a church boutique. She calls them "Gingie Bones" and "Cheesie Poochie Smoochies". We dogs got to be taste testers. The smoochies have egg in them which I love and the gingie bones have ginger. We pooches loved them!!!

Eating home made poochie treats is fun!

Mom gave us some chicken this evening and it was divine! She was cutting it up for dinner and she saw my beautiful big brown eyes and she couldn't resist sharing. Or maybe it was because I was getting in her way? Nah - I'm going with the big brown eyes routine!

Chicken is fun!
