Arrival Story:
We went to the Humane Society in Honolulu and he caught both of our eyes at the same time. He was calm and quiet and his eyes were telling us that he wanted out of that place. So, we took him out of the cage and took him to the "get to know" cage. There we both sat on the bench and waited for him to make the first move. He instantly plopped himself down in between my husband and I. He kissed us a couple of times and he came straight home with us. The first month with us he was scared by little noises and always trying to hide, probably caused by previous abuse. Since that day we brought him home he is living a good life he deserves and has given us nothing but unconditional love and comfort. Although he came to us with zero confidence he has grown into a dog with confidence and can hold his own with his 'lil sis, Puka. They love to play chasing games with each other until they konk out for a nap!

Bio:
On November 11, 2008, our family made the heartwrenching decision to let Jay take his last breath. He was such a loyal dog to our family and he will forever be in our hearts. We can only hope that he felt as much love as he gave us. LET LOVE HEAL OUR HEARTS, WE LOVE YOU JAY.
