Favorite Walk: Intratuin!!! Best Tricks: She is really good at doing stay, and sometimes she'll do sit. Arrival Story: Well we wanted to get a second dog to live with Vlad, as he is sooo hyper. Vlad has a girlfriend Gizmo, whom he loves and adores. Well the owners decided they would breed Gizmo (not with Vlad though, as he's fixed). And we already knew that Vlad adores these sorts of dogs. So when Gizmo got pregnant, we were promised second choice of the litter of puppies (owners got first), and we helped out with the puppies from the moment of birth, so we bonded very early with them. Vlad and Delilah still see her Mommy (Vlad's girlfriend) and Delilah's brother Mac, about once a week. They live across the street, and her other brother Diesal lives across the street as well in another house. Vlad gets on well with Mac and Diesal too! Bio: Delilah is a real sit and look pretty type of dog, but at the same time... loves to be cuddled. She'll happily fall asleep in your arms if given the chance. Her favourite game is playing goat and being on top of the world and pretending she's an alien from the Alien movies. She suffers from a severe flea allergy so her coat must be kept short, washed frequently and treated against fleas on a regular basis. She insists on her morning cuddle under the blanket with Daddy. I am not sure how many of you are aware of this, but about 2 years ago I started losing my hair. This is due to my allergies and liver condition. Mommy and Daddy have me under strict vet care and I'm on several medications to help.
We are not really sure what caused the latest hair loss, but it always seems a lot worse in the winter. Around Christmas time we had a real cold spell with a lot of snow. Within a week nearly all the hair on the top of my head had fallen out. Mommy was crushed by this.
Other than the latest hair loss, I'm hanging in there. My boyfriend Pinky comes over quite often to see me. At first Pinky was not very fond of Vlad and I, but once he got used to our little pack, he became one of the family. At first he'd just growl at me, now he loves to snuggle :) I cannot wait to see him again :)
So that is the news, bald but living the good life. We got new beds at Christmas from Grandma, Grandpa and my Aunt and Uncle! :)
Hope all you other pups are doing well. Mom is posting a picture of me taken yesterday with my new doggles. Due to my hair loss, I need them and doggie sunscreen for the summer! Don't worry Mom removed the stickers after she took the photo!
Yesterday Mommy told me that my brother Diesal from my real Mommy Gizmo is now a Daddy! Diesal lives across the street from me with his girlfriend Janell. Mommy said her and Daddy got to see the baby that they kept and it's just a lil furball! So cute!!! Wish I could play with it!!!
Yesterday afternoon Mommy and Daddy took us to see Auntie Vero and Uncle Miguel's house. Vlad had been to Auntie Vero's old place years and years ago... (when he was a pup), but I've never been there.
Anyway first we all sat in the yard and they had a CAT inside looking at us. Oh boy Vlad and I really wanted to play with that cat. But eventually we calmed down.
When it got a little chillier out, we went inside... that's when the fun began. First the older cat Smokey freaked out... and slashed up Uncle Miguel. Oh oh!!!
Mommy really thought it was better if Daddy take Vlad and I home, but everyone said not to worry... Mommy was really worried though.
There was this other cat (the one from the window) that just kinda sat there and didn't care much. So we sniffed around and walked around and cuddled with everyone. At some point the window cat decided to come check us out. Oh oh again! I ran after it before Mommy could stop me (his name was Roderrick). But Daddy stopped Vlad. Uncle Miguel put Roderrick on the high cat post thing (Smokey was upstairs), and I sat there watching him as he watched me. It was exciting!!!
Then we went home again... Vlad and I pretty much slept ALL night, we were tired! We didn't even care much about going for our night time walk... but Daddy made us anyway.
