Arrival Story:
We adopted Abby from her breeder after she had been returned to them by her original owners. She was 7 and a half when we got her as a companion for Pericles, our younger male basset hound. She was very timid for the first year that we had her, but she slowly became the queen of the home.

Bio:
When she was 8 and a half, she woke up one morning and her back end was paralyzed. She had to have surgery on her back to alleviate problems with her spinal cord being pinched. Since then, her back legs don't work too well and she stumbles around a bit. But she has a great attitude and has a very strong constitution.
