I haven't written in a while..

Wow, it's been a long time since I last wrote! Nothing much going on in the life of me, except that I just turned the big 1-o on July 2nd. And I'm the youngest 10 year old you'll ever meet! I still am acting like a puppy. Anyway, mommy threw me a birthday party and it was so much fun. I even had a yummy cake just for meeee.

Anyway, just thought I would give a quick update. I need to get going, once my daddy gets off work, he's coming to pick mommy and I up and I am going to the dog park with my friends Rocko and Abby :]

I miss my mommy

My mommy had to spend the weekend away from me to dog sit. I hate it, I want my mommy back. When she left, I started howling hoping she would hear me and come back, but I guess she couldn't :( I'm so lonely at home, my grandpa works all day, so mommy is always with me, I'm not too used to this. I hope mommy sends someone to visit me, she usually does when she is gone. I wonder when she is coming back home on Monday. That's when she told me she'd be back.

I was bad today.. but it felt so good

Today, Mommy took me to two preserves. She has been working with letting me off the leash in big enclosed areas. The first preserve we've been doing, and I do very well there and mommy is always proud of me. So, she thought she'd take me to even bigger and better one, where I could have more fun. I'll admit I did, but my mum was not happy with me. We were supposed to go down the trail, but I spotted swans in the lake, and that was it. I went in the lake and was chasing swans around. I kind of recall mommy screaming for me to get back, but I was pretty oblivious. I just wanted to catch a swan and eat it. I was going after them for about 20 minutes, I was on every end of the lake you could think. I was not giving up until I got one. Well, until some guy came in and took me out of the lake and brought me back to my mommy. Boy, was she a mad. And a mess. I could see she was crying and I knew I had it in for me by then. I really don't understand what was so bad because I had fun, but mom told me it wasn't the chasing of the swans and being in the lake, it was because I did not listen or even look at her when she called, and that she was scared I would never come out until I got one, which I probably wouldn't have. Mommy took me home immediately after that, and now I have to sit on a towel because I'm soaked and I stink. Mommy wants to give me a bath, but she has no more shampoo for me left. I can't stand to see her mad at me, but I'll have to deal.

Dog park!

Today, mommy took me to the dog park. We spent about 3 hours, and I had a blast! I had to have met about 20 dogs and it was great. Although I kept following mommy, and she kept trying to hide from me so that I'd go play with the other dogs. The nerve of her!

We came home and I got to rest for a while. Then I harassed the cats mommy is pet sitting, well if you want to call my talking to them in "woo woo's" harassment. They don't really seem to like me, but I do love cats! I just wish they'd play me.

Then I had a nice big dinner, which I scarfed up pretty fast, because I was on my feet for hours today. Normally it would take me a while to even touch that stuff. Then mommy had to do my ears, uggghhh I hate that so much and she has to do it everyday to keep my infection away. I still hate it, it's irritating.

Anyway, I'm getting tired and I want to go lay down, so I'll write again one of these days.
