Arrival Story:
My other dog "Kodi" ran away for 3 days. When she was returned to me she had a little puppy with her and a man in an official uniform.The gentleman explained to me that he worked for the Dept. of Natural Resources in the Wolf repopulation program and that he was a foster home for Hybrid Wolf puppies. My dog "Kodi" wouldn't leave his property until he brought the runt of the litter in the car with him. He then asked if I would like to foster her untill she was 6 months old, at that time I was to take her in for a pysical and she would be put in a preserve to learn how to hunt and meet other wolfs. After a year there she is to be released into a sancuary to help repopulate the Red Wolf breed that is dying out and becoming extincted. I agreed, but when she was taken for her pysical, she was found to have a type of scroliosious of the spine. They were going to put her down, but I wanted to keep her. So they spayed her and corrected her spinal curve, and let me keep her.(not without buying a whole lot of insurance on her first).
Bio:
Her legs have never quiet reached thier real length so she is quiet short in stature but tall in heart and spirit. She has been trained in being an emotional companion therapy dog and part time rescue dog with my third dog "Kiddi".

1. I love popsicles. (especially orange)
2. I dig a super deep den under my dog house every spring!(kinda like
a cellar)
3. I hate car rides.
4. I don't like any other human except my mom.
5. I don't know how to howl even though I'm a wolf.
6. I freak out during thunder storms.
7. I love to sleep outside. (mom has to bribe me to come inside,

Today my human mom added me and my "sis" Kiddi to dogster.com. She took some pictures of my "sis" doing her flips. I did them too! I think she got one of me trying to climb the fence. When I get bigger I want to be just like my "sis" and become a search and rescue dog too. I may be short but I've got the biggest heart. I'll just keep trying. Licks and Wags, Keyra
