 Quick Bio:
 Birthday: December 15th 2000
Likes: Attention, car rides, playing hide and seek with his human Dad

Pet-Peeves: Being left alone

Favorite Toy: All stuffed animals especially ones that squeak. (Uncle Kevin when he teases Pooh)

Favorite Food: Scooby Snacks

Favorite Walk: Pooh is not fond of being on a leash, unless he's going for a car ride. He loves to be outside in the backyard

Best Tricks: Nibbles Daddy's ear for treats when I tell him to say please.

Arrival Story: Pooh was brought back to a pet store when he was 2 months old after his owner learned he had hip diplasia. Although we wanted to rescue or a adopt a dog, God led us to the petstore. Pooh was going to be put to sleep if no one wanted him. After some research and speaking with a vet about his condition we decided to take him home. He was now 4 months old. His new Daddy put him in the front seat of his pick up truck. Pooh sat quietly just looking out the window. For the first few weeks Pooh was very depressed, but after much attention and love he settled in nicely. He is our first Chow and the best dog we ever had.

Bio: Pooh is a very loving and playful dog who can always make us laugh. He loves kids and most other animals, even cats. Although he is a bit uncoordinated and doesn't see too well, he is part of our family and we love him very much.

We lost our precious Pooh last night after a short battle with cancer. Last month Pooh wasn't feeling well and we took him to see Dr. Martha. All seemed ok so she gave him pain medication for his hip displasia and he did extremely well. He was like a new dog. Dr. Martha wanted to see him back in 30 days. We had him to the groomer and the next day he didn't seem to feel well. We took him back to Dr. Martha for his follow up visit and x-rays when she discovered Pooh had cancer. Pooh died at home with his Mommy and Daddy with him only 2 days later.
Pooh was truly a one of a kind Chow Chow. Pooh could always make you laugh, he was sweet, tender, gentle, loving, unselfish, fun, the list goes on. Pooh touched many lives in his short life and he will be greatly missed.
