Arrival Story:
In the spring of '95 I was 9 years old and was having terrible year. My brother had just died a few months earlier and my chocolate lab, CoCo, had bitten my neighbor and we were forced to get rid of him. Everyone in my house was utterly devastated and we were forced to come to terms with everything (our neighbor was a mean ole SOB. The only reason CoCo bit him was because he stuck his hand in my fence and CoCo thought he was trying to grab me. My mom tried to explain that we had just lost my brother--we couldn't lose our dog too. But he just shrugged and said 'well then, move.') Anyways, my mom came across this ad one night that said Shelties for Sale. We went to the breeder's house that night and there were 3 puppies--2 girls, 1 boy. I wanted the runt of the litter and my mom wanted the perfectly healthy girl. I won once I put my foot down (the mad had said he was going to drown her if no one took her!!) and that's how we got Sassy.
Bio:
Sassy was considered the runt of the litter, so she has had many health problems including: tumors, arthritis, and an extra set of claws. But with medication and surgery she is all better :).
When she goes for her walk, she's the happiest dog in the world! She freaks out if we even say the word walk! I swear, it's like she knows english.

Sister needs to put up some other pictures of me!! Problem is, she said most of my pictures are on the other computer at home, in the muck I still call a home. Oh well, she said we'll just have to have a photo session. Great!

Life is so hard sometimes. My mommy decided I smelled like poo so she just HAD to give me a bath! Baths are so overated! The only good thing is that she didn't bring me to the cleaning lady to get cut. The last time that happened, they basically shaved me! My mommy was mad because she only wanted me cut a little. Oh well, at least it's growing back and it WAS nice because it's super hot here.
Besides that, today was a nothing day. My daddy took me for a little walk with Dakota this morning but because of some big things happening, we haven't ventured out much. Mommy did tell me that we are going to the park next weekend so that's really nice.
Oh, and thank God for my sister! She's been keeping Dakota away from me all day! She got mad at her yesterday for jumping on me and so now sis won't let her anywhere near me. It was just an accident though. I know she didn't mean to, but it hurt!!
Oh well, it's nap time!

The little midget they call Dakota was all over me today. Sometimes I wish she would just leave me alone! Like when my sister was on the computer, she came over and jumped on my back. Little turd.
Of course, she's MY little turd. We did have a sweet moment today when no one was looking. She came over and we just watched each other.
*sigh*
I didn't really do much today. I needed to sleep because my arthritis has been giving me trouble. I expect within a few days I'll be back to normal though since my mommy got my medicine! YAY.
Time for me to go nip Dakota in the butt.
