   Leave a bone for Scooter

Boot Scoot, Scooter Bug, Buggy, Scoopy, Love-Dog

Doggie Dynamics:
not playfulvery playful

Quick Bio:
-mutt-dog rescue

Walking, running, exercising! He loves being outside. He is always keeping at eye out for bunnies. He'll show off his tricks for treats!

Long car rides, water (no swimming for this guy), BATHS, and nail trimming (the vet is better at this anyway!) Scooter loves older kids, but gets really nervous around babies and toddlers. Their behavior is unpredictable.

Favorite Toy:
My Kong toy, food cube and squeaky bone

Favorite Food:
He doesn't eat food, he inhales it. He likes any food, but we stick to a strict diet...well, with some popcorn occasionally!

Favorite Walk:
Anywhere, anytime. You just grab the leash! He loves trips to the dog park.

Best Tricks:
Sit, jump, shake, do high-five, lay down, stay and play dead!

Arrival Story:
We received an email from a coworker that Scooter needed a home. We adoppted him from a woman who runs a rescue program. He was abandoned and was going to be euthanized at a shelter. We went for a visit to meet Scooter. We could tell right away that Scooter was the dog for us! He has been an absolute joy in our lives! He is so fun and smart and cute!

Scooter was abused pretty badly as a puppy. Our vet found two b-b's lodged in his chest and lip. He needs lots of love. He loves when you talk to him in a sweet voice - he responds very well. He cowers very easily when voices are raised. He is a very obedient dog willing to please you. There is never a need to spank him.
