Nikea's Dog Days

Nikea is Happy.

We put Nikea down today. She suffered a siezure early yesterday morning and it was not pleasant to say the least for anyone of us. It was time to let her go.

Nikea is in a better place now and we will remember her in good times and spirit. She will always be the awesome German Shepherd in our hearts and mind. She was the sweetest I've ever met and definitely one of the most beautiful in physical beauty as well as heart. I am happy she no longer suffers and has passed on peacefully.

New stuff! Collars, Toys, Treat Jar and food bowls!

Zarah, Hank's girl-human, got paid a couple of days ago and she bought us all new food bowls!! Me and Hank even each got our own toy baskets with new toys!! She got me this fancy collar a week or two ago and we also got our own, new sets of food and water bowls. Even the cats got new stuff! Everyone here is stylin. I can't wait for Christmas!

It's been a lot of fun for me especially since Zarah started driving a car. I've been going on more car rides, sticking my head out the window and all. We go out atleast every other day to the dog park now. She should have my pictures up for you soon! You'll see me with Hank and Boomer trying to get the ball. I even got to ride with tie downs in the back of a truck! I did really well and loved the wind on my whole body! I had FUN!

I'm also greatful that I moved inside because someone is always around to give me attention and to basically check in on me. I really like being inside. It's also much warmer. I had a rough start moving into this apartment because I was so very nervous. As an older dog, I really have a hard time with any big changes. I even freaked out a little when Zarah started her job and Don started walking me on the weekends. That was new to me and I was worried and my bowels showed it. But now, I've got living indoors down and Zarah's schedule handled! I've got my humans trained and my bowels in order.

It will just get better from here!
