Practice.

Well we got home from class and I didn't want to share mom with the rest of the pack. I sat in mom's lap and said, no, grrrrr, my mom. Mom said no Joy, this is not right. I did not like mommy telling me that I had to share, eventually we worked it out, that I did share an we were all a happy puppy pile, but I was on top of the pile woof!

We had practice everyday so far, I am doing well, but it is difficult when mom makes me sit, within the pack. No one else is sitting, Moe even dances, I want to dance too. But mom insists that I sit, so I sit. Mouse is a good sitter, so she gets treats quickly too. Ld and Bunny get to stand still and run around trying to grab treats, but mom won't let them steal. I love when mom takes my leash and training collar out now , it means we are going to do something together , makes me feel special.

Obiedience School Day 1

Well I went to school, it was scary, I didn't like meeting all those new dogs. At least at first. It was good to have mom nearby to reassure me that all was good. We gathered around in a circle? And they made us sit, I know sit, but this sit gave me lots of treats, I like treats, so I sat real nice. Then they taught us to pay attention to our name being called, again their were treats, so I liked to pay attention too. Then there was something called touch, at the end of which there were treats, so this was also good. Last but not least was no pulling. This was a little less fun, but I am not a big puller so it was not too bad and there were treats for this too. I got lots of delious treats tonight so I liked school over all. Now we have to go home and do something called practice.

New Friends

Last Night Mom took in Cory and Malakie to board for 5 days. What fun I am having. Corey is a Jack Russel and Malakie is a Redbone Coonhound. It is snowing today, so we are dashing madly about the yard, turning it all in to mush, well maybe not all of it. Then it's on to mom's bed for a nice snooze cuddled up next to mom herself and everyone else as well. Let it snow, Let it snow, Let it snow!

The first day approaches

I am starting obeidience school on Tuesday, Dad keeps calling me Obedieince Joy, whatever that means. I got a new collar and leash for my birthday, and one for the class. Mom even got me a new tag with my name on it. What ever these obedience classes are, I am looking forward to it, as mom and I are doing them together.
