You left us two years ago today, at 10:45 AM. Our lives were never the same with you in them, and never the same since you have gone. Always in our prayers and hearts, sweetheart, we will keep you close and thank you for all you gave us for 12 years.

Today, our family all received a pretty rose on our page and a lovely "Random Act of Kindness" picture to put on our photos.
Thank you to the sweet doggy or kitty that is leaving such love, and we will pass on a few touches of joy, in the same spirit,
Rocky, our angel, Sarge and Abby

We heard that our dear friend, Damon, has suddenly made his way to the bridge to be with his brother, Arthur. Damon was loved beyond measure by his family and was found to have diabetes. They took the best best care of him, and he kept his spirits high and was in activities to help other rescued doggies, as he was, a black pearl. Damon left us with so much love in our hearts, that he lived each day to the fullest and didn't let the diabetes get him down. Bless you, dear boy, bless you.
Damon is 766139

Here is a small favor to ask of all of you.
On July 23rd at 7:30 P.M.EDT Wyoming's Mum will be having another Canine Cancer Hero Candle Lighting at Sierra's garden in Maine for our heaven and earth angels. They will be lighting each and every stake in Sierra's garden that has our angel's names burned on them, and a healing section of candles for our heroes that are living through the challenges of cancer.
Sadly each year the number of names in the garden grows .....so I'm sure that our angels will have something special planned for that evening.
Every year they seem to show up and give us the gift of their presence.
If everyone can please light a candle at 7:30 PM EST and place it outside so our angels can see our tribute of love for them in all different parts of the world, and a second candle to show our unity for positive thoughts of healing for those battling this disease ....."
Here is a link to the video from the 2004-2010 ceremony. 2004-2010 Candle Lighting
It is long but if you take the time to view it you will see how very special it is and how honoured we would be to know all our pals are lighting candles at the same time too.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
So that's it, just a simple favour that you join us and light two candles wherever you are at 7:30 PM EDT Saturday 23rd July so all the Angels know how much they are missed and loved.
Yesterday, May 5, our dear long time friend Levi, made his journey to the Bridge. We read this morning his journey was a safe one, and peaceful in his mother's arms with his family around.
You helped my family to accept my passing last year, when mom was full of guilt. Your mom knew, as she worked for a vet and could help us to understand that it was the right thing to do. We will always remember that kindness and compassion at a time that it was so needed.
Thank you, sweet Levi, you always were an angel to all who knew you.
A year today, March 28th, at 10:45 AM, you left this earth to the Rainbow Bridge. Free of the pain of the cancer that was so sudden and quickly took you. Yes, you were not a young dog, but you were so dear and special and our first dog, our first precious family member that was with all of us through 12 and a half years of love, sadness and joy.
We miss those big amber eyes, so knowing, and the walks at UB, around the lakes, watching the geese, ducks, and never did you chase them. They were all part of your day and you respected life in all forms. And dad loving the many walks around the neighborhood, the visits along the way.
You were with your daddy as he faced his cancer in November, the month of your birthday, and are still by his side now.
Sarge was a comfort to Rocky, and stayed by his side when he was so sick. Sarge was very sick after Rocky passed, from grief. They never knew that they would meet, and the year before, Sarge moved to Buffalo and was with his friend.
Abby walks with Daddy and visits with the neighbors. It is a daily walk and both of them look forward to it. Funny how something so simple can mean so much.
You were the best, Rocky. The day we got you in the cold and storm of the night in January. You left on Palm Sunday, a day of rebirth. And in between those days, we had nothing but wonderful days and so many memories to keep in our hearts.
Watch for the golden star balloon, dear one, it will be coming to you this morning, filled with our love and our gratefulness to you.
Dad, Mom, Sarge and Abby
Tomorrow is Thanksgiving Day.
It is going to be a different one for our family because we usually had the big bird and trimmings at our house. This year, we will go to our Grandma's house, and be together there. We will remember good friends, family and dear ones that aren't at the table but will remain in our hearts for always and ever. We are grateful for our friends and family that are near us, the support and care they have been and continue to be. There are many blessings in life. Friends are at the very top of our blessings. Some things we cannot change, none of us can change, but with the paw that is stretched to hold yours, we can make it a better day. Wishing all of Dogster many blessings in their lives and many friendships that will guide you and keep you strong.
I know my family misses me alot. My mother comes down stairs every morning and sees my memorial box on the little bench that sat in her childhood home.
If the front door is open, she sees the Angel in "Rocky's Garden" where the fern still waves in spit of cold and snow.
Abby is there to greet her and Sarge, although he sleeps more now that he is a little older, and she gets her coffee and goes to read her mail and write.
She reads her Buh ens forum messages and pawmail. They have so much news and so many nice things and things that are a concern. And when the time is over, the memory of reading those messages from friends far away, are still in her memory.
Another day passes and we hold close to the ones who care. It is a funny thing, these words are written by those who we may never meet, but we feel that we know them best of all.
Guess that's alot to be thankful for on Thanksgiving and every day.
