Park Outing

Today my dad was supposed to have softball practice which is good news for me since that means mom goes too so she can play with me at the park. Well we arrived at the park and it started out as all fun and games. We played fetch with one of my favorite toys, I got to say hi to people, and just all around enjoy myself. And then it happened. It began to rain. Then it quickly began raining harder and harder. So we had to leave. But oh well at least I got to enjoy myself for awhile.

A Fun Day with Mom

I haven't written in a awhile and what better way to start again than to tell about the fun day I had last week. Friday mom stayed home from work and boy did we have fun. She took me over to the reserve near our house and I got to go swimming (my favorite) and hiking. It was morning, too, so it wasn't too hot. She also gave me a new collar she bought at Old Navy. She's crazy about buying new collars, but I have to admit I like them too.

I Love Snow!!

Just a few days ago we got our first real snow of the year (about 5 inches) and I absolutely love it.!! It's so fun to get crazy and run in it. Mom says she doesn't like cold weather too much, but she still goes out and throws the frisbee for me. I like making her laugh at my goofy antics. Well... gotta go enjoy life some more!

Learning is fun!!

Mom's always teaching me new tricks- lately we've been really getting into obedience- especially "look" and "heel". She said something about wanting me to compete for obedience titles. Either way it sure is fun- all kinds of tasty treats and playing with the best toys. Plus I get to spend lots of time with my favorite person! Sometimes I get a little confused about what she wants, but I don't sweat it, she makes it as easy as she can for me and it only takes me a few times to get it right.

Life is Boring when Mom is Sick!!!

Mom's been sick for the past 2 days, and that means life has been really boring. She doesn't want to do any of the things we normally do!! Sure we still go out and feed the chickens- and I get to tell that darn rooster what I think of him, and she still plays a little fetch with me, but it's not the same. Usually we're going for walks at the local park and reserve, riding the four wheeler around on our 3 acres, making up obstacle courses and just having lots of fun. I sure wish there was a cure for colds... maybe if I nudge her some more...
