Quick Bio:

Birthday:

Likes:
Riding in vehicles, including the fishing boat ( check out the picture of him in my raincoat - we were salmon fishing early one morning last April and he was cold so I put my raincoat over him to keep him warm! He is sooooooooooo spoiled!

Pet-Peeves:
When you have to leave him at home; when you don't want to play with him 14 hours a day; when I take him to the bank or reservation for our smoke run and they have run out of treats for him!

Favorite Toy:
4 wheeler tire is his favorite and any toy that he can chew up. He has a whole toy box full of toys - most with no stuffing and no squeaky but he still plays with them.

Favorite Food:
People food. His real favorites are hamburgers and ice cream. He doesn't get them much anymore because he is allergic to something so have quit feeing him people food for the most part.

Favorite Walk:
Anywhere you go - loves to run and play in the woods.

Best Tricks:
Dakota loves to play ball and is faster than a speeding bullet. When he wants to play he puts the ball in your lap but he won't let go of it - you go to take it from him and he turns his head so you can't get it....he is real slick!! LOL

Arrival Story:
We got him when he was 5 weeks old as the mom had 10 pups and they were so big and aggressive that she couldn't feed them any more because they bit her.

Bio:
When we take him for car/truck/boat rides he stands right up out the window and his ears flap in the wind. When riding in the car he rests one "arm" out the window and looks at everything. We also pass two cement lions quite frequently and no matter how many times you do that a day, he knows where to look for them and will look every time. He also does the same with a horse statue at a feed store except he barks at the horse! While driving around people are always smiling, pointing or talking to him. He is a real character! Just for your information he is not a "mean" dog - he is afraid of the poodle next door! She barks, he runs. He loves to play with other dogs and people; but can hold his own if need be. February 10, 2008 Just thought I would write an update about Dakota. He will be 6 in a couple of weeks and he is the most awesome dog that my husband and I have ever had. He is smart, loveable and is like a kid. He knows everything we say and is totally spoiled rotten. We take him everywhere we go - he has been on many motorhome trips with us, Oregon Coast, Wyoming, Montana, Alberta and BC Canada many times. He has never been neutered or been used for stud service. He is the most wonderful dog! We hope that he will live a long, long time.

Favorite Toys:
When we (Dakota and I) go for groceries and we come home - he puts his head in every bag to see if he can find a new toy! Needless to say, there is usually one for him!
