Arrival Story: I'd been wanting to raise a puppy for a long time. Most of my rescue work was with adult dogs, and I hadn't gotten to train Jack to adulthood. I'd felt that if I had raised Jack, things might have been easier for him. Still, I wasn't planning on getting another dog. One day at work, a coworker informed me that there was a litter at the adoption group that "looked like little Jacks". That happens sometimes, so I went over to take a look and coo at the puppies. I saw Wolfie and my heart stopped. I was immediately drawn to him in a way I hadn't been with the previous dozen foster dogs I'd taken in. I took him home to "foster" him, but everyone, including myself, knew better. Most fosters I'm very blase about. But Wolfie I kept referring to as "my puppy". At the end of the week, I decided to officially adopt him as my own.

Bio: Wolfie is a lovely dog with the unfortunate habit of biting the butts of dogs that run by. He is excellent at working aggression cases and is well-versed in calming signals. He is loyal and an extremely well-mannered housedog. He grieved hard after Jack died, but is now beginning to enjoy life with Scorch.
Wolfie earned his CGC award on March 14, 2006.
