Zuzi went to the Rainbow Bridge on July 25, 2009 while her mom and dad were on vacation. Her Aunt Deb brought her to the vets because she didn't want to take her heart medicines or eat anymore and just was too weak to do anything.
Zuzi had a wonderful long life. We will truly miss our little girl.

I'm a frail little old lady now. I can't see anything out of one eye and now my other eye is failing quickly. It's a bummer because I can't see much of anything but big movements and light and dark.
I can't hear a heck of a lot although my Doodle brother and sister let me know when to bark so I can join in. They are helpful that way.
Since I really can't see much, I don't venture far from my cozy little bed. I like to sleep in it as much as possible. It's really comfortable and I like it a lot. Mom gives me treats in it in the morning and night. She calls it medicine but I like the Pill Pockets she gives me. Very tasty.
I'm not much for going for walks anymore. My heart isn't what it used to be. I go out into the yard and sniff around some. You never know if there might be something good to eat! My mom likes to pick me up and carry me places. Sometimes to my favorite tree out front that I've always loved to sniff.
Sometimes she picks me up and puts me down in a different room. It's hard to figure out where I am so sometimes I'm pretty lost. Mom rescues me and puts me back in my bed. That way I know where I am and can start over if I need to.
All in all, I'm pretty content. I love to eat and sleep. It's a pretty good life for a disabled senior citizen Yorkie.

I turned 14 on January 7th. I'm doing really good for a senior citizen Yorkie. I still love my treats and mom and dad put them in a toy and I toss it around and push it with my nose until I get all the treats out. Sometimes it takes a while but all the exercise helps me keep my girlish figure.
I have a really cozy doggie bed that only I fit in. That means those big silly Labradoodles don't bother me in it. Traveller likes to pick it up and throw it like it is a toy though. I don't like that.
I'm totally blind in one eye but can kinda see out of my other one. My hearing isn't what it used to be but that's OK. I can still hear the Doodles bark so I know when to join in. Sometimes I start the barking to see if they will start. That's a lot of fun. Mom and dad now carry me up and down the stairs at night. I took a tumble on New Year's day and boy did that hurt. I was alright after a little while. I think I was more scared than hurt. It's just so hard to judge that top stair when I can't see very good.
I pretty much like to eat and sleep and cuddle with my parents in bed at night. I like to nip at the Doodle's legs if they get out of hand. Someone's got to be boss! Life is good.
