Birthday: August 28th 2005 Likes: Mummy Favorite Toy: A little soft dog that my daughter gave her Favorite Food: James Welbeloved and Butchers Favorite Walk: None yet as she hasnt had her jabs Arrival Story: I have wanted a chocolate American Cocker Spaniel for over a year. My friend had got a beautiful Buff boy from a breeder in Kent who she highly recommended. I phoned her last year but she said that she very rarely got chocolate cockers and last year out of all her litters she only got 1 that she kept. I phoned her on Friday 26th August and she said she had a litter due the following monday but that she thought they would be born over the weekend as Mummy dog (Lucy) looked ready to burst. The breeder only expected black and black and white pups but by this time I had given up on a chocolate so said I would be interested in a black and white. I phoned up on Sunday 28th and was told that Lucy had had her pups that morning and that she had 3 chocolates (2 boys, 1 girl) and 1 black puppy (a girl)!!! I had previously spoken to the vet about what sex to go for as I didn't want to upset Buddy (I felt confident that Cookie wouldn't mind either sex as she was only 4 months old so still a baby). The vet felt it didn't matter too much but said he would probably prefer a girl. So we paid a deposit on the chocolate girl. The breeder lived 2 hours drive away so we only got to visit twice, once when Molly was 2.5 weeks and again when she was 5 weeks. I've Been On Dogster Since:
