Arrival Story:
My husband bought a "how to choose a dog" book and we searched and searched for a breed that would be perfect for us. Then, he spotted the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel and we fell in love with their adorable looks and amazing personalities! My mother-in-law happened to see an ad in our local newspaper advertising a new litter of Cavalier puppies. We met Abbey and fell in love with her! We brought her home two days later. She has been our fur baby ever since.

The first day that I saw my new family: October 30, 2002 My Adoption Day: November 1, 2002 My dog family: Char (Yellow Lab), Cami (Lhaso Apso), Rosie (Cocker Spaniel), Buster and Brandy (Boxers), all of my Cavalier pals! Places you'll find me: my mommy's lap, my daddy's or grandpoppy's office, on my parents' king size bed, on the sofa, at the park, searching for a ball, on a walk, at Story and Song rehearsal, playing with Rosie and Char on the deck Places you won't find me: the VET, the groomer, in the bath, anywhere with ponies or babies

Today, my mommy and daddy took me to Point Isabel to walk around. It was a warm 72 degrees and we could see all the way out to the Golden Gate Bridge! I got to mee so many new dogs- lots of German Shepherds and Labs. Although I stayed on my leash, the olther dogs got to run and swim in the bay. (I was completely content NOT to get muddy and wet, although I still had to take a bath when I got home!) In all, it was a lovely afternoon after such a terrible week of rain!

My mommy told me that some of her graduates look at my Dogster page! That is so exciting! I just love all of those little ones. So, if my mommy was your teacher at some point, I just want to say hi and that I hope to see you soon!

My new cousins are... cats!!!!

I can't believe it. My Auntie Lauren and Uncle Joshua have two new Persian kitties. Sure, they're cute and all, but the are cats! My mommy came home from Lolo's house smelling funny. Then she showed my daddy the pictures of the two new little ones. I'll have to put their pictures on my site because for cats, they are pretty adorable. So, I can get used to the cat thing, I guess, but my mom said that I am not allowed to play with them until they get all of their shots. SHOTS!!! Yuck! I just want to chase them a little, so what do they need shots for. Besides, they have an advantage over me; they can climb up blinds and bookshelves... just like Spiderman! I wish I could do that, but no- my feet stay firmly on the ground. One day I will get to go over there and play with those kittens. Until then, I will just have to dream about it!
