Arrival Story:
Well, my son and I wanted a pug real bad, however, as you all probably know Pugs are pretty expensive and all of the rescues in my area required too much to adopt ... SO, I learned of a litter through a friend (we both work at Vet Hospitals)... Well, the $500.00 Pug baby that we had our hearts set on turned into a $1000.000 Pug baby that this single mother could not afford. BELIEVE ME I tried to work it into my budget but just couldn't. THE DAY that I decided that I had to break the news to my son that we probably wouldnt be gettin a Pug after all... There was my miracle!!! I happened to be on opening shift at a clinic I worked at... a lady walked up with this tiny 1.5lb Pug puppy not lookin so good... sorry to say the baby didn't make it, but the owner was distressed because she happened to have 7 babies at home and no homes for them... well I kind of wearily asked " How much are you asking for them..." SHE SAID $200.00!!!!!!" To make this long story short, my son & I went there that evening, spent 2 hours choosing our girl... she's been our baby girl ever since...

Savannah had an FHO ( Femoral Head Ostectomy ) Surgery at 6mos of age... she's recovered wonderfully!!!

I AM SAVANNAH ROSE. MY MOMMY PICKED ME OUT OF A LITTER OF 8 (YES, 8...) THE BREEDER PERSON WAS KIND OF ODD- SHE DID NOT WANT MY MOMMY TO SEE ME... MY MOMMY DID NOT FEEL A CONNECTION TO MY PUGGY BROS/SIS SO SHE ALMOST LEFT. THEN THE LADY WHO OWNS MY BIOLOGICAL MUM/DAD BROUGHT ME OUT IN A WASHCLOTH ( I WAS ONLY 2.4 LBS) THAT LADY SAID I WAS "THE BAD ONE" AND "THE DIRTY ONE" MY MOMMY AND MY BOY TRENT SAW SOMETHING DIFFERENT... ME! I HAVE BEEN WITH MY FAMILY FOR ALMOST 3 YEARS NOW. I RULE THE ROOST- I THINK- UNLESS MUM SAYS SOMETHING DIFFERENT... I LISTEN TO MY BOY TRENT THE BEST.... WHATEVER HE WANTS... I WILL DO... MUM GETS JEALOUS BECAUSE I DONT LISTEN TO HER SO WELL. WE ARE WORKING ON IT. NOW MUM IS FOSTERING DOGGYS... WOW! I GUESS I NEED TO BE NICE AND BE THANKFUL FOR MY MUM & BOY. iM TRYING! ITS HARD TO BE A PRINCESS! LOL... MUM LOVES ME I LOVE MY DOODLE & KITTYS- THE NEW DOGS TAKE TIME, BUT I EVENTUALLY LOVE THEM TOO.
