the little red dot...

My sister, Lexi, had a birthday party on Saturday. I had a fabulous time playing with all the other puppies. But after mom and dad unwrapped Lexi's presents, this strange red light kept appearing on the floor. I tried to catch it, but it kept running away. I don't know how it moved so fast. It would disappear and reappear across the room (maybe it traveled under the carpet?). I was determined to catch it. My aunt Sami thought I should take a break after an hour or so, but I wasn't going to give up. Eventually, it went away, but I kept searching in case it came back. I wonder what it was?

My new nickname....

...is Houdini.

I, without the use of opposable thumbs, have learned how to open the door to my crate. Mom thinks that this is very impressive because she has trouble getting it open. She was sure that Daddy didn't shut the door all the way, but he really did, I'm just so talented that I figured out how to get out.

An adventure

Last night, mommy and daddy went out to dinner. Apparently, mommy forgot to tell daddy that if you don't make sure that both the latches on the top of my crate are latched, I can escape. So, after about 10 minutes of trying, I manged to climb up and squeeze out of the corner of my crate. I had a great time playing in the house and doing things that mommy and daddy won't normally let me do. I pulled dad's coat off a chair and pulled it into the living room. And if even manged to get the towel that was hanging on the stove. It was fun to chew and "kill" them. Since mommy and daddy weren't there to let me go outside, I just got to go wherever I wanted. It was a great time!
