Mommy and Daddy took me for training last night so I can become an obedient dog. Hehe, suckers. There were a lot of dogs there, and they were all bigger and older than me. I think I'm the most behaved one there, so uh, I'm done! They showed me how to look up and pay attention when they say "look!" The trick was that they had a treat in their hand... well of course I'm gonna look, duh! All I had to do was look up and I got hooked up with a treat. If only it was this easy at home! Then they taught me how to go to them when they say "OK". It's a "release" word. But I never went because they said "OK". I went because Daddy showed the treat in his hand when he said "OK". Psh, amateur.
At the end of the session, this lady asked Daddy if she could have her greyhound come and sniff me. Daddy said OK. I waited until he came close, then I capitalized on the opportunity and pounced him. He backed up like a little wimp, except he was about 10 times bigger than me. I think he was abused before or something. So I let him off easily after that and just let him sniff me good. After all that, we picked up Yoshinoya's. "We" as in Mommy and Daddy, not me, because I don't get no beef bowl. I get the California Natural day in and day out, because it's supposed to let me live a longer healthier life. Bla bla bla, I'll take a "nice to know ya Yoshinoya" anyday!
Anyway, it was a long day, but all in all, they took good care of me so I think I'll go poop regularly from now on. Peas!

Mommy took me for a walk this morning and I went like I was supposed to. She said "poopoo" as I was going, then gave me a treat when I was done. I guess I'll do that more often, especially when she says "poopoo".
I overheard Mommy and Daddy talking about taking me to training today. I hope that means I can finally train them to give me treats when I ask for them. They are rather thrifty about those things. I also want to train Daddy to stop cursing when the Angels lose. I'm a puppy, I can't be hearing those words.
