She always perked up when I would come to visit her at my mom's house. She also got very excitable around dinner time.

When she got older she had sore spots that she didn't like touched. And she did not like the vacuum cleaner.

Favorite Toy:
She was never big on toys, but she did get greenies.

Favorite Food:

Favorite Walk:
She never liked walks. Even when we would put her outside to go to the bathroom, she would look at us like we were being abusive making her go outside to pee.

Best Tricks:
not moving!

Arrival Story:
My mom tells me that my grandmother had two lhasa apso/ poodle mixes when she was getting up in years and that those two dogs made such an impression on my mother that when my father finally convinced her to get my brother and me a dog she wanted one of those. She found an ad in the paper and we went to pick one out. The owner's poodle had escaped and gotten knocked up by one of the neighbor's lhasa apsos. So they were more than happy for $30 and to have the dogs off their hands. We wanted two, but only left with one.

Barbie was a wonderful pet. She was loving and affectionate. She would bark when people came into the yard and when they knocked on the door. She always wanted to be petted and loved. And would roll over to get her belly pet by anyone who came in the door. Just a love bug. She was born on January 1, 1989 and left us June 3, 2005. With my love.
