Arrival Story:
We walked into the pet store one day and everyone was way too friendly to Scott. Anyway, after a short time, I found out he had been visiting her everyday at the store (EVERYDAY!!) for the past few weeks. His birthday was coming up and even though I did not really want another dog, had 3 already, he really seemed to like her so I offered her as his present. He called the store and found out she was already on a truck being shipped back the breeder to be destroyed. (coincidentally, the breeder we found out is the same as our other Saint and they have the same bloodline). Anyway, we thought we might have to go to flagstaff to pick her up by beating the truck there however the were able to get her back off the truck before it left. We picked her up that evening. What a nightmare...she hates leashes, cars, etc. I felt like an animal abuser because I had to drag her out of the mall, then finally picked her up and tried to carry her all the way to the car. She was 36 lbs and fighting me the whole way. And cars, it was not happening if she could help it. We finally made it home though and she has been a loving member of the family since!
