Arrival Story:
Spencer was welcomed into our family during the summer of 2003. Our other golden, Pemo, was ready for a new companion. We loved Spencer the moment we laid eyes on him. He was a little tubby fellow.... who right away caught our attention. He loved his new home right away. He got in trouble a few times with Pemo... but, learned the ropes.

Bio:
Spencer has a very interesting personality. He is a very calm dog. We call it "the eerie calm." He is a very very sweet dog. Likes to lick you, lay by your feet, and follow you wherever you go. He is very quiet, and looks as if he is always thinking deep thoughts. A very pondering dog. He has a very unique trait..... he GRUNTS. In the early mornings... his grunts are the loudest and longest. He will sit right by you... place his paws on you... look deep into your eyes... and "grrrrruuunnnnt." Don't let his calmness fool you... when he is outdoors, he is very fast and active. He is extremely athletic. He loves his dad! :-)
