Birthday: September 17th 1997 Likes: Scratches on the side of the neck, and eating!!!!! Pet-Peeves: Rabbits, Cats, and Birds who dare to enter "his" back yard. Arrival Story: I was setting in a Truck-stop outside of Louisville, KY and saw an ad for Jack Russel Terriers in the local paper. I called the number, but they were out of Jack Russels, so they brought me their last puppie, a Min Schnauser. I held him, he looked up at me, and licked my chin. I was instantly smitten, and we've been a team ever since. Bio: Mikie is like the kid in the old "Life" commercials, He will eat most anything. He's very friendly, and loves children. A very vocal dog who will argue with you if you say no to him by growling and grumbling under his breath. He thinks he's boss of the house and tries to lord it over Scottie. Mikie left us today 7/22/2010. Took him to the All City Pet Emergency Hospital with heart failure. He was given an injection, went to sleep, and passed peacefully with me singing the "Mikie Song" I've sang to him since he was a puppy one last time.
Rest in peace old friend. There's a hole in my heart that will never heal. You never harmed anyone in your short but loving 13 years. Your Mommy, brother Scottie, and new sister Maggie will miss your forever. We'll see you soon my Mighty Mikie Dog at the Rainbow Bridge. Semper Fidelis buddy.
